Meet Team Evolution

Jennifer Cooper is the Founder &  Fractional CMO at Evolution Marketing and brings 24 years of marketing and client service experience across industries. She has enjoyed time working for Fortune 500 companies as well as multi-family, national, regional and local builders. She also was recognized as national marketing professional of the year two years in a row by the NAHB.  Jennifer has worked across single family, multi-family, restoration construction, non-profit, retirement and energy industries and has vast experience in overseeing marketing and sales team development, advising on company operations, and bringing creative solutions to her clients from product development to customer experience. Having left the corporate c- suite just three years ago, Jennifer today focuses her efforts on helping builders, developers, and real estate service companies as a Fractional CMO. She offers a majority of her time serving as a sales and marketing partner for Builders Design, Focus 360, and several regional home builders. She also offers her time and perspective to help other businesses with marketing advice in the homebuilding industry, is an active mentor with the Denver HBA, and speaks often throughout the industry. Jennifer has served as a spokesperson for the St. Jude Dream Home in Denver, and served as an advisory board member for Zonda, Atlas RTX, the Colorado Homebuilding Academy, and the Tennyson Center for Children. In her spare time, you will find Jennifer supporting local charities and fundraisers benefiting children and rescued animals.  She also is a wife to Andrew, her husband of 20 years, and a soccer mom and a volleyball mom to her two children and enjoys traveling abroad.

Laura Ownbey is a seasoned marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in brand development, customer experience management, community strategy, and collateral design. With a background in marketing, graphic design, and technology start-ups, Laura brings a unique blend of creativity, innovation, and strategic thinking to the table. Throughout her career, Laura has demonstrated a knack for driving measurable results by analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and implementing data-driven strategies. She has been recognized as a marketing leader in the industry, receiving accolades such as the Denver Metro Home Builder Association’s marketing professional of the year for 2023 and the National Association of Home Builder’s silver award for marketing professional of the year for 2023. Based in Northern Colorado with her husband Justin, a VP of mortgage lending, Laura enjoys traveling, attending concerts and sporting events, and spending quality time with her adult children in her spare time.
